The situation
Bankdata wanted to advance its Agile implementation by putting stronger operational ownership into the teams and using technology to improve quality and flow. The programme touched more than 100 teams and required coordinated progress across technical, process and cultural tracks.

The assignment
Simon led the DevOps strategy and implementation programme, worked with six project managers, managed the Steering Committee and stakeholders, and kept the programme focused on measurable outcomes rather than isolated initiatives.

The change
DevOps became a practical organisational capability rather than a strategy statement. Teams received better tooling, clearer operational responsibility and repeatable learning practices, while management gained a coordinated programme for driving change across the organisation.
